RANGERS HALT SKID WITH OT TRIUMPH

GLANBROOK (Dec. 1) — Chase Johnson’s goal at 1:10 of overtime gave the Glanbrook Rangers a 1-0 triumph over the Hagersville Hawks and halted their losing streak at four games.  Mitchell Robinson turned aside 39 shots to record the shutout, the second of the campaign for the veteran netminder.

It was the Rangers’ first win of the season against the Hawks, who currently occupy the cellar of the South Bloomfield Division.  In three meetings with Hagersville so far, the Rangers have recorded one win, one overtime loss and one tie.  The victory lifted Glanbrook into a tie with the Niagara Riverhawks for fourth place.
